by Given the Cricket 2021 event had to be cancelled at the last minute due to poor weather, we decided to relocate the event with Empress Market pop-up vendor and all to our very own front drive!
Alhamdolillah the event was very successful with the food selling out within hours, awareness of TCF being raised and a number of new contacts being made in the local community.
Numrah Siddiqui from Empress Market was on hand to serve up beef bun kababs and chicken biryani.
Chapter team member Saba’s contribution of cupcakes and sweets was well received.
Sarika and Sooriya of TCF-UK did a great job sharing the TCF vision with visitors.
And in a shock-surprise, up and coming LA actor Saagar Shaikh, starring in MsMarvel as superhero Kamala Khan’s elder brother, somehow stopped by to say hello!
